All images are printed on acid free, traditional photograph paper or photograph art paper made of 100% cotton and matted with fine, acid free matte boards and recycled backing.
Deciding on which paper ... traditional photograph paper has a lustre finish (in between glossy and matte) and generally has just the right amount of saturation in the image. 100% cotton paper has a matte finish and usually has an artistic feel to the print. Unless specified, I will tend to use traditional photograph paper; however, there are some images that look very nice on the cotton paper.
Why aren't all your photos available as fine art prints?
Simply because, some images on SKHPhotos have been cropped for artistic impression and will not scale well to a large print. I will do my best to label all cropped photos as such, but contact me if you have any questions.
Well, why did you put them on your site then?
I choose to put my images on the site to tell a story. Some stories just tend to be smaller than others. If you'd like, I may be able to print the image as a smaller note card.
